Customer Service Representative - Dispatcher
Job Description
SUMMARY
Ensure continuous information flow from internal/external tankering and in-plant operations jobs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Identify customer requirements and ensure requirements are met.
Scheduling and Dispatching of Tankering and In-Plant Operations personnel for Kirby Inland Marine and 3rd Party Customers.
Ensure transfer and related transfer data is accurately entered into Oasis and/or Access.
Ensure load/discharge order requirements are passed on to Tankermen verbally and by page, email or fax.
Run the Data Error reports at least once per day to insure missing transfer information is completed timely.
Update/ maintain the job scheduling tool and Job log book on each job assignment.
Assist billing/payroll with weekly field reports to verify information in the billing system(s), and the distribution of mileage checks.
Assist Team Leaders, Supervisors and/or Managers as needed.
Required Experience:
Prior customer service and knowledge of the inland tank barge industry preferred.

High School
